Purpose-Built Performance
  • Backhoe Loaders do just about everything. And the faster the better. The 580 Super N offers a suite of features to help you work with greater precision and speed. At the push of a button, the PowerBoost option unleashes a surge of hydraulic power for fighting through hard ground. The PowerLift option delivers an industry-leading 4,000 lb. lifting capacity and the standard ProControl anti-rebound system helps you raise, set, dig and dump more accurately. There's also a universal coupler option for greater backhoe versatility and a factory-installed thumb. As for loading and roading, the optional PowerDrive 6-speed transmission with automatic drive engagement delivers greater acceleration, increased gradeability, better fuel economy and reduced travel times. Comfort Steer is a must-have option for faster stockpiling and truck loading. When traveling, the adjustable Auto-Ride Control option, combined with our over-center design, provides a smoother ride to prevent spillage.
Common-Sense Fuel Efficiency
  • As a do-it-all machine, the 580SN uses an SCR Tier 4 Final solution (Selective Catalytic Reduction). It provides fuel savings and compliance while still running at peak performance and with no regeneration downtime or extra fuel burn. ECO Mode comes standard, making it easy to maximize fuel efficiency when using the backhoe or loader. The package also includes engine Auto-Idle and Auto-Off to minimize wasted fuel or lease hours. The timing of both can be adjusted to your preference.
CASE Comfort & Visibility
  • Whether in cab or canopy, optional LED lights provide brighter, overlapping coverage that drains less power. Cabs have floor-to-ceiling glass and opening rear-quarter windows for exceptional visibility, airflow and communication with ground crew. Other options include a hands-free Bluetooth radio with USB and our best seat yet with more adjustments, built-in heater and a hand-stitched design. The 580 Super N offers intuitive fingertip controls for the loader and backhoe pilot configurations, including a joystick FNR rocker, self-leveling, return-to-dig, auxiliary hydraulics and more. Pilot controls and armrests can be repositioned for custom comfort and classic foot-swing "CASE controls" with mechanical levers are also available.
Simple Serviceability
  • Like all N Series backhoes, the 580SN has routine checkpoints and fuel ports located on one, ground-accessible side of the machine. Swing-out coolers and a flip-up hood provide easy service access to vital systems, and our Extendahoe® has externally adjustable wear pads so you can quickly tighten tolerances with simple tools to reduce unwanted slop. And with the standard 3-year SiteWatch Telematics advanced data subscription, it's easy to monitor machine hours and performance to maximize ROI.
